Mt. 25 Discussion Groups

MISSION | VISION | CALLING
It is our goal to strengthen our commitment to the Matthew 25 initiative through intensive and challenging study groups.

WHAT’S HAPPENING NOW
10/10/22
Back by popular demand, a second group is expanding its understanding of systemic racism and how to work against it through their study and discussion of Molly Secours’ book White Privilege Pop Quiz. Members of other churches (Irondequoit and Victor Presbyterian Churches) have joined us for the online meeting on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8PM. Use the CONTACT US tab above to receive the login link.

08/29/22
Beginning Tuesday, September 20th, we will begin a second session of exploring Molly Secours’ book, White Privilege Pop Quiz. There is no shaming, no blaming, and no judgment to her writing. Our discussions (led by both Black and White leaders) explore our own experiences and where our faith is leading us.

Classes will be from 6:30-8 PM for 9 weeks, culminating on November 15th.

This group is open to EVERYONE — even those not part of our Acts of Faith.

According to post-program feedback, members found this to be life-changing, eye-opening, and “the best thing I’ve done in years. I’ll never look at myself the same way again.”
