|WHAT’S HAPPENING NOW?|
|March 16, 2020. We are working with Cobb’s Hill Manor staff to provide a youtube link to our virtual worship so that the residents can continue to engage in worship. One of our resident members has offered to lead the worship and we are so grateful for her generous spirit and willingness to step up. South is blessed indeed with a rich pool of skilled lay people and we are so thankful for that.|
As of March 11, 2020, all Acts of Faith at Cobb’s Hill Manor have been suspended to protect the vulnerable residents as much as possible from the risks associated with COVID-19. This means that, beginning on March 15, we will not hold live worship at New Life on Monroe. The pastoral team and the session are working on alternatives to live worship that will still allow us to gather virtually as a community while following the advice of our healthcare providers regarding social distancing. Both pastors remain at work and are available for people as needed, please feel free to contact us. We will keep you posted as the situation develops, and we look forward to the day we can return to our morning worship every Sunday at 9 a.m. in the Wellness Room at Cobb’s Hill Manor, 1175 Monroe Ave., Rochester, NY. You are welcome!
A new Act of Faith, PRAYING HEARTS, has grown out of our worshiping community. PRAYING HEARTS meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Praying Hearts is also suspended until further notice. Check it out here, and come, join us.
NEW! Become part of a group gathering on the 2nd and 4th Thursday mornings in the Wellness Room at Cobb’s Hill Manor to read The Story by Max Lucado and Randy Frazee. It is a narrative of God’s love for humanity and our response from Genesis through Revelation in 31 chapters. Thursday Morning Bible is currently suspended along with the other Cobb’s Hill Manor Acts of Faith.
